WMCFW – Fall 2015

For once, it would be nice if it wasn’t freezing cold during World MasterCard Fashion Week. Alas, as it’s held in March and October in Toronto, it’s usually unlikely. However, it’s still a fabulous change of scenery to mingle with the city’s glitterati and see the latest trends (plus score some great freebies!)

MasterCard had its Priceless Vending Machine doling out various goodies. I received make-up and designer socks. Maybelline also offered free make-up for uploading a selfie to social media. Neostrata was generous with its samples as well.

Of course, the main event is the runway shows! Melissa Nepton brought her standard wearable fashion. I’m a big fan of jumpsuits so I’m glad the trend is still going strong! Here’s a sample of what she was offering:

On Friday, I scored tickets to the closing show of WMCFW to Mikael D in 2nd row (more swag bags!) His dresses are stunning. I’ve never witnessed a show where I would genuinely wear any of the pieces. Yes, they’re not your daily attire but they are absolutely beautiful! I can see why celeb’s have started to wear them to awards shows and he’s also gaining notoriety for wedding gowns. These are a few of my favourites!
